The threat

Water is the quiet disaster.

This year, 18% of homes will have a water leak. The average home loses 10,000 gallons a year — slow drips that feed rot and mold, supply lines that let go at 2 AM, toilets that run for months unnoticed. Leak Shield exists to make sure none of it touches your property.

What we catch

  • Toilet flapper leaks
  • Supply line failures
  • Burst pipes
  • Silent drips
  • Pre-freeze events
  • Running fixtures

The service

A response center. Not a notification.

Hardware alone is not protection. Your property is monitored from a local, staffed response center where live agents verify every event, shut off your water remotely, and run a daily plumbing check-up.

  • Live agents, around the clock

Your entire property is watched from a local, staffed response center — nights, weekends and holidays.

  • Human-verified alerts

AI flags the anomaly; a live agent confirms it before action. Real events get answered, false alarms stay quiet.

  • Remote shutoff, done for you

Asleep, abroad, off the grid — an agent closes your main the moment a real event is confirmed.

  • Daily plumbing check-up

Every day, we verify your property is water-tight and every device on the line is healthy.

How a save happens

  1. 02:14:07

    The line lets go

A supply line bursts behind a wall. The valve identifies it instantly — a pressure signature that matches no known fixture.

  2. 02:14:09

    Water stops

The main closes automatically, shortly after the event begins. Gallons lost: almost none.

  3. 02:14:31

    A human confirms

A live agent verifies the event, checks every sensor in the property, takes the appropriate action, and calls you directly.

  4. 02:18:24

    Help is moving

A licensed plumber is coordinated per the urgency of the event. You get the full report.

FAQ

Questions, answered.

Will it fit my plumbing?

One valve supports ¾″, 1″, 1¼″ and 2″ water mains. A licensed plumbing contractor performs every install, and we confirm fit during your free site assessment.

What does the install involve?

A licensed plumber installs the valve on your main line, a licensed electrician adds a power source if one is needed, and our team programs the system around your fixtures — toilets, showers, sinks, appliances, water heaters and ACs. Most installs are done in a few hours.

Is equipment financing available?

For multi-property or multi-dwelling applications, we offer financing over a 36-month period for the equipment and installation. Just ask us if you have other types of properties that you're considering.

Who is actually watching my property?

Live agents at our local, staffed response center in Lake Worth, Florida. They monitor every device 24/7, verify events in real time, and can shut your water off remotely the moment something is wrong.

Can I still control the water myself?

Always. Open or close the valve from the app anywhere in the world, or use the manual override on the device itself. You stay in command — we are the backup that never sleeps.

What about false alarms?

The detection AI is trained on more than two billion water events and learns your property's unique patterns, so it can tell a long shower from a leak. On top of that, a live agent verifies events before action is taken.

Will my insurance premium go down?

Many carriers offer discounts for automatic shutoff with professional monitoring — up to 20%, and some insurers now mandate it for high-value properties. We provide the documentation your carrier needs.

Does this work for condos and commercial buildings?

Yes — it is one of our specialties. We deploy a valve plus sensors in every unit and monitor everything on a 24/7 basis. Recent projects include 131- and 272-unit high-rises.
